The SHFWT series strengthens Signal's range of chokes, coils, and inductors, responding to the growing demand for efficient, low-loss, high-frequency power components. The low-profile SHFWT series utilizes an edge-wound flat copper wire construction that allows for more turns in a single winding layer. This approach reduces capacitance between coils and proximity effects, resulting in lower AC resistance and improved performance at higher frequencies.
Combined with high-quality core materials, the design minimizes overall power loss and heat generation. Vertical and horizontal mounting options allow for flexible integration into various system architectures.
