The MIC-733 is a compact, fanless system capable of withstanding the wide operating temperature range (-10 ~ 60 °C; 14 ~ 140 °F) typical of harsh outdoor environments. It provides a range of expansion slots and multiple I/O ports, including four USB 3.2, two Mini-PCIe, and two M.2. It also offers expansion via iDoor and iModule and is compatible with a variety of peripherals. Custom I/O modules are also available via Mini-PCIe and full PCIe interfaces. This includes the use or modification of CANBus controllers, image capture via Cameralink, and PoE modules for IP cameras.

Advantech's MIC-733 computing system leverages the powerful NVIDIA Jetson AGX Orin system-on-module (SOM) for energy-efficient autonomous machines. These solutions accelerate NVIDIA AI software stacks with up to 4 CUDA cores and deliver up to 8x the performance of NVIDIA Jetson AGX Xavier modules. Furthermore, these solutions support numerous sensors and the latest high-speed interfaces.

To integrate existing video and AI computing solutions, the MIC-733 supports multiple video inputs, including GMSL, USB, and PoE. The MIC-733 supports two GMSL2 cameras when a GMSL card is inserted. It features four USB 3.2 Gen2 (10Gb/s) ports for USB cameras, enabling high-speed data transmission. Expandable with the iModule, this version of the MIC-733 can connect to eight USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, four GbE PoE ports, or eight GMSL2 cameras. To facilitate the deployment of distributed AI video solutions, the MIC-733 delivers up to 60W of power to cameras via four PoE ports (upgradeable from four LAN ports) to assist customers in camera integration. Customers can choose between four 15W/port or two 30W/port configurations.

The MIC-733 retains Mini-PCIe expansion capabilities to enable the use of 4G/Wi-Fi modules for mobile communications. Furthermore, in response to the growing demand for 5G communications, the MIC-733 features an M.2 3052 slot specifically designed for 5G applications.

Advantech is collaborating with Allxon to provide 24/7 remote management services for the NVIDIA Jetson distributed AI and robotics platform, enabling large-scale device deployment and management via over-the-air (OTA) and out-of-band (OOB) services. The MIC-733 is also Azure IoT certified with Microsoft's reference configuration. Furthermore, Microsoft Defender for IoT, part of the Azure Edge Managed Program, detects threats to the device's operating system and applications.
